Ana Vivoda

Born 1979 in Rijeka. In 2002 she graduated from the Department of Visual Arts of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Rijeka. She finished her postgraduate studies (Project Studies) at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Sweden in 2004. In 2013 she Completed Doctoral studies at Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia.

She worked at the Academy of Applied Arts University of Rijeka and now works as Associate Professor at the Department for Teacher Education Studies’ in Gospić, University in Zadar.

Her research interests are print-based art and art education, she participated at several national and international conferences and actively contributed at organizing the conferences at the Department for Teacher Education Studies’ in Gospić. Trough Erasmus+ programme she was teaching at the University of the West of Scotland, UK, University of Porto, Portugal and she was a guest lecturer at Academy of Applied Arts, University in Rijeka, Croatia, The Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš, Serbia.

She is a member of the Croatian Association of Artists (HDLU) in Zagreb, she had nine solo exhibitions and participated in over one hundred international exhibitions around the world (International Print Triennial Krakow, Guanlan International Print Biennial China, German International Exhibition of Graphic Art Frechen, International Graphic Biennial Splitgrafic, New Prints exhibitions at International Print Center New York, International Biennial Print and Drawing Exhibition, Taiwan, International Competition of Contemporary Art, Alicante, Spain, International Artist Book Biennial Egypt. International Graphic Biennial Varna, Bulgaria, Di carta - International Paper Art Biennial, Italy, 18th International Graphic Biennial Sarcelles, France and others.

She published one independent graphic edition - Traces, Argola edition, Cabinet of Prints of Croatian Academy of Science & Arts in 2015 and has participated in several group editions in Croatia and Sweden.
