Damir Mikoč
He was born on May 2, 1966 in Zagreb. He completed his high school of mathematics and information science in Kutina. He graduated in 1994 from the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb and obtained the title of Graduate Engineer in Mathematics, majoring in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics. At the aforementioned faculty he enrolled in a postgraduate study of mathematics, where he received his master's degree in 2009 with the theme Divisors of Projective Varieties and Serre's Duality.
He received his doctors's degree in 2022 with the theme Generalized Wronskians and Modular Curves.
From October 1994 to January 1997, he worked at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb as an associate associate young researcher in mathematics, on the project 'Investigation of finite structures using computers'. This project examined the existence of some finite mathematical structures using the C language and UNIX computers. He taught Collegia: Mathematical Analysis 1, 2 and 3, Linear Algebra, Stochastic Mathematics, Discrete and Stochastic Mathematics.
From January 1997 to October 2002, he worked at several IT companies.
From October 2002 to October 2011 he worked at the company: Ekonerg doo - Institute for Energy and Environmental Protection. The area of expertise was web application (IT) design, studies of environmental information technology project implementation, statistical models in ecology, use of Monte Carlo analysis in environmental risk assessment.
From October 2011 to December 2014 he worked at the Department of Mathematics, University of Rijeka. He has taught courses in Elementary Mathematics 1, Mathematics 2, Introduction to Topology, Computer Practicum 1, Vector Spaces 1, Mathematical Analysis 1, Mathematical Analysis 2, Mathematics 3, Probability and Statistics.
In December 2014, he was selected as a teacher in the teaching title of Senior Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in the field of mathematics at the Department of Teacher Studies in Gospić, University of Zadar, where he has been employed since January 1, 2015. . Teaching courses: Mathematics I, Mathematics II, Mathematics III, Mathematics IV, Methods of teaching mathematics I, Methods of teaching mathematics II, Methods of teaching mathematics III, Methods of teaching mathematics IV.
