Denis Jurković
Denis Jurković was born on June 12, 1988. in Osijek, Croatia, where he finished primary and secondary school. In 2010, he entered the Faculty of Philosophy of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, majoring in philosophy and pedagogy. In 2015 he graduated with the subject Marxism and Philosophy of Art in Danko Grlić's Aesthetics (mentor: associate professor Boško Pešić, Ph.D.) and obtained the academic title of master of philosophy education and master of pedagogy. In 2017, he enrolled in the postgraduate doctoral study of pedagogy "Quality in Education" at the University of Zadar. In 2023, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation entitled Intercultural sensitivity of teacher studies students (mentor: Marija Buterin Mičić, assistant professor, PhD), thereby obtaining the academic degree of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of social sciences, scientific field of pedagogy (cum laude). Since 2017, he has been employed at the Department of Teacher Studies in Gospić, University of Zadar. He is the (co)author of more than ten original scientific articles, he was an exhibitor at numerous scientific or professional conferences, a member of the organising committee of scientific or professional conferences and the editor of one collection of papers from the conference.
