Biography
Hana Lukas Midžić
(Split, 1980) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2002 majoring in sculpture, in the class of professor Šime Vulas. She spent a semester at the Sculpture Department of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, under the mentorship of James Nestor, PhD. As a visual artist, she focuses on sculpture, illustration and interdisciplinary forms that include shape, material, sign, word and/or movement. She regularly organizes solo exhibitions and participates at group exhibitions, but she also self published a few picture books. As a freelance artist she collaborated with various artistic organizations and cultural centers in drafting and realization of various contemporary artistic and educational practices.
