Biography

Jelena Vlahović

Jelena Vlahović was born in Zadar on January 7th, 1981. In 2004 she graduated from Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zadar with the master degree in Pedagogy and Philosophy. She has been employed at the University of Zadar since September 2004, and at the Department of Teacher Education Studies in Gospić since March 2022, as a lecturer in the area of social sciences, field of pedagogy.

She is an associate on the courses: Introduction to pedagogy, Family pedagogy, Didactics, Inclusive education, Methods of working with pupils with special needs and Pedagogical docimology on the Integrated undergraduate and graduate university study programme of Teacher Education.

She is a student of the post-graduate doctoral study in pedagogy „Quality in Education“ at the University of Zadar, dissertation topic: "Pedagogical quality factors in workplace learning of pupils in secondary vocational education and training". She has participated as a collaborator in several scientific, professional and EU projects. She was a member of organizing committee of several domestic and international conferences. She regularly participates in professional training, among others in Erasmus+ Staff Mobility For Training.

She is a member of the Croatian Pedagogical Society and the Croatian Andragogical Society.
