Biography

Josipa Čuka

She was born in Zadar, December 10th, 1987. She graduated from high school in Zadar. During her education in primary school and high school she participated on national competition in mathematics.

In year 2006. she enrolled in PMF in Zagreb and in year 2011 she got her masters degree in  theoretical Mathematics.

In academic year 2011./2012. she worked as an assitent on Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb and she teached Descriptive geometry 1 and Descriptive geometry 2.

From September 2011. to March 2013. she worked as an  associate on Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. She teached Mathematical analysis 1, Mathematical analysis 2 and Complex analysis. In the same period she worked as an associate on Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology in Zagreb where she teached Mathematics 1 and Mathematics 2.

From April 2013. to November 2013. she worked in primary school in Zadar as a mathematics teacher and in November 2013. she got a full-time job as a mathematics teacher in primary school Stanovi, Zadar. At that time she enrolled in study for the acquiring of pedagogical competences at University of Zadar that she successfully completed in July 2014.

From September 2013. to this day she worked on a project Centar Izvrsnosti which was financed by City of Zadar and Mathematical Society Zadar and it involved working with primary school and high school students that show affinity, talent and interest for mathematics.

From September 2014. to September 2017. she worked as an associate on University of Zadar teaching Mathematics 1, Mathematics 2, Mathematics 3, Mathematics 4 and Data structures and Algorithms.

In December 2021. she started working on University of Zadar, Department of Teacher Studies in Gospić as an university assistant. She teaches Mathematical methodology 1, Informatics 1, Informatics 2 and Mathematics 4.

In December 2022. she enrolled in postgraduate study "Research in education in the field of natural and technical sciences" at the PMF in Split.

She is the author of scientific paper:
