Krešimir Žganec

Krešimir Žganec is an assistant professor at the Department of Teacher Education Studies in Gospić, University of Zadar. His field of study is biology, ecology, specifically freshwater ecology with focus on ecology and biogeography of fresh and brackish water crustaceans (Amphipoda, Decapoda, Isopoda and Mysida), alien and invasive macroinvertebrates as well as community ecology of macroinvertebrates in streams, rivers and lakes. He is also involved in interdisciplinary research of different human impacts (dams, pollution, hydromorphological changes and climate change) on freshwater ecosystems.
